Our final step in this journey is to show our hard work to the world. We'll do so in the form of a Beta Channel. In the Roku space, real channels need to be tested by a Roku representative and approved to be released to the store.
A Beta Channel needs no approval to be released. Of course, it won't appear in the store, but creating one follows the same steps as a real channel and you'll be able to share a link for anyone else to install it anyways.
You're an awesome student. I’d be honored if you would share your feedback on what it was like learning from this course. To make it easy, I created a form here where you can quickly leave your comments and upload an image in just a couple minutes.

To start this process go to https://developer.roku.com and create an account.
⚠️ Make sure to create your account with the same email that you used to setup your Roku device ⚠️
At some point the sign up process will ask you to add a credit card -- you can skip that step.
Once your account is created, go to https://developer.roku.com/dev/landing. The page will redirect to a form that you must fill to enroll in the Roku Developer Program.
After you finish the process, you should see a message like this:
Congratulations! You have successfully enrolled as a Roku developer. You can now publish free channels.
Go to the Roku Developer Dashboard here https://developer.roku.com/dev/dashboard and click on the menu option "Beta channels":
Then click on the button "Create Beta channel"
At the time of writing Roku is transitioning between a legacy and a new UI for creating channels, so maybe the interfaces will look different for you.
